Moon Paintings
On select new and full moons, my art and intuitive practices converge in the form of these moon paintings. They are completed within two days of when the moon phase is exact, while the moon is still in the same astrological sign. I assess the astrology chart of the moment the moon phase reaches its apex, meditate on what I see, and allow what I feel from the chart and the lunar current to come through in the form of these works.
Planetary Art
For this work, I elect an astrology chart that I feel best captures the highest expression of a particular planet in a sign that it feels at home in. I craft a sigil for this planetary expression, and inscribe it during the election window, capturing the energy of the moment. I record any insights about the planet I gain during this time, and allow the sigil to ripple through space, time and my subconscious until an image embodying the moment comes through. This process draws heavily on the methodology behind crafting astrological talismans, but what emerges is not a talisman. These are enspirited works of art, meant to evoke the particular face of the planet being explored.
